WhatsApp Method– How To Guide:
Please disable the ringer and all sounds on your smartphone, including vibration, clean the camera lens and your computer screen beforehand to ensure the photos are crystal clear, ensure the phone is fully charged at the start of the exam, set the phone display to be “always on” to avoid the screen going to the “Lock Screen” during the exam.
Put your phone in your pocket during the initial room scan and then take it back out when the room scan part is over.
You will need to adjust the webcam to focus on your face only and NOT your body.
Then you can discreetly use your smartphone outside of the webcam’s view to discreetly take photos of all the exam questions as soon as the exam starts.
Then upload all of them in Telegram into the shared group chat so that the tutor can text you the correct answers to the exam for you to type into the exam yourself.
As soon as the exam or each section of the exam starts, immediately start taking photos of ALL the exam questions and kindly upload them all into the group chat all at once. Or immediately one after the other as fast as possible.
INCLUDE THE QUESTION NUMBER:
Always make sure each picture you send actually has the question number clearly shown in the actual photo. This helps the tutor know which question it is
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT:
It’s best to practice this method at least three (3) times before the exam by recording yourself on camera trying to take photos with your phone, and then reviewing the video to correct any tell-tale facial expressions, sudden eye or body movements, and to ensure your phone does NOT actually appear on camera.
